The problem
An airport is a dozen organisations sharing one runway: airlines, handlers, air traffic control, each staring at a different legacy system. One late inbound aircraft snowballs into missed slots and burned fuel, and nobody sees it coming.
How it works
EMMA’s AI-driven SaaS unifies real-time operational data across airports, airlines, and aviation stakeholders. Its modules cover Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM), Turnaround Management Systems (TMS), and Airport Operational Management Systems (AOMS) — building toward Total Airport Management — so operators can use existing capacity better instead of building new terminals.
Pain points
Airports operating near full capacity, $150 billion-plus in planned regional airport infrastructure, outdated Airport Operational Databases, and sustainability goals with no real-time data behind them.
Business model
Enterprise SaaS contracts with airports, airlines, regulators, and air traffic service providers — land with one module, expand into the full airport-management suite, with new capital earmarked for the game-changing Total Airport Management product and global expansion.
Challenges
Aviation procurement moves slowly and favours incumbents; each deployment must integrate with brittle legacy IT; and the platform must prove safety-grade reliability airport by airport, in a sector where minutes — and mistakes — are expensive.
